Got a plain transaction export? Skip the chat. In Transactions, choose Import from CSV and map the columns — date, amount (one signed column, or money in and out), description, account. A general-ledger export from your old software works too. You see your own rows at every step and can drop any before you commit.
Imported rows land in Review, where Lejr suggests a category for each one — the same queue your bank feed uses. Nothing touches your ledger until you approve it.
Already use Claude, ChatGPT or Grok?
You don't need one — the built-in assistant does the whole migration. But if you already work in Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, you can connect it over MCP and drive the move from there, with the same tools and the same approval on every write.
Connecting your own AI is free and unmetered on every plan. The built-in assistant is included on Plus and Pro — there's nothing to top up. (Fair use: up to 1,500 assistant requests a month per account.)

Five years, ten years, fifty thousand transactions — import all of it, on any plan. Transactions are unlimited with no per-row cost, so the size of your history never changes what you pay.
No cutoff date, no volume meter. We charge for seats, businesses, features and payments — never for the activity your business generates.
Direct sync with other accounting software is on the roadmap. Until then the export path covers the same ground, and the assistant asks about edge cases instead of guessing.

For several businesses to stand up at once, a tangled chart of accounts, or years of unusually messy history that doesn't fit the self-serve path, we offer paid Assisted Migration on a limited basis. Quoted per project, starting in the low four figures. We take on a small number per quarter to keep quality high.
